Lights, Camera, Islam: Sharing Our Story with The World: Lena Khan

“A Film can tell stories and provide an easy method of sharing emotions and ideas among people.” One UCLA Muslim filmmaker, Lena Khan from Rancho Cucamonga, California quickly realized this connection and made it her personal skill and working mission.

@Heart reaches Lena by phone on location of her recent project to reminisce over her transition from a Political Science major with a desire to be a History professor to a bold Filmmaker with a consciences and desire to “Tell A Story.” That led Lena to develop a much hailed and loved 2007 video called ‘A Land Called Paradise’; which, later assisted in developing contacts in the music and entertainment industry.
